Are you a scrapbooker
or a journaler? Have you found solice in writing about your illness
journey? The experience of living with illness Can have its ups
and downs, but a scrapbook is a wonderful way to reflect on what
God is teaching you through it all.
Each journal
is 8x8 and comes with 20 pages filled with overlays/transparencies,
designed by Lisa Copen. After
designing this kind of album for adoptive moms, she began to
realize how fulfilling it would be to be able to record all the
ways God has given her special friends, scriptures, moments of peace
(and a few of turmoil!)
The books are
beautiful. Choose from Navy or a Mulberry cloth album. The overlays
are already in the pages. Just add colorful paper (or they look
good in black and white) and then put your thoughts, writings, stickers,
whatever, behind the overlay for a beautiful book.
We have 2 volunteers
who are currently "doing" their albums and we will post
some of the pages as examples. We've also set up a Yahoogroups that
should be functional by March 15th. The 2 leaders will answer questions
or help you in any way with your scrapbooking of your illness. Sign
up here.
