Hello
to you,
It's Lisa Copen here, from HopeNotes .Just dropping
in to share a practical coping with illness tip
with you! Hope you're having a blessed week, despite
the chronic pain you may be experiencing.
As you already know, it's important to find ways
to be encouraged and somehow focus on Christ each
day. When you aren't feeling well, that can be a
lot more of a challenge than it sounds!
One of the best ways we recommend is to sign up
for Rest Ministries daily devotionals at www.chronicillnessdevotionals.com
.
We have an amazing group of volunteer writers who
use their experiences--both the ups and downs--
and their gift of writing, to encourage all of us.
I am constantly amazed at how these men and women
can share a piece of their lives in just a few paragraphs
and yet get directly to the emotions we deal with
while living with illness. . . and also the answer--
depending on our Lord Jesus for our strength.
If you don't get the devotionals yet, be sure to
sign up here www.chronicillnessdevotionals.com
If you do get them email a friend who could use
some encouragement and let them know about them
too.
That's our tip for the week!

Many of you know her from the Women of Faith
Conferences.
Well, that's all for now. May you feel God holding
you in the palm of His hand as He promises in Isaiah
49:16: "See, I have engraved you on the palms
of my hands; your walls are ever before me."
Take care,
