Internet outreach

The internet has many ways in which, as a group, we can outreach to many people. At no time do we encourage, nor want, you to "spam people" in any way.

However, if you are surfing the net and come across web sites that have information on one's illness, etc. we encourage you to let them know about National Invisible Chronic Illness Awareness Week. Please let us know if you have questions. Sample press release. pdf

Surf the Web and as You Visit Web Sites, Sign the Guestbook!

Most of us have a footer or signature file at the end of our email somewhere. Use it to help us promote National Invisible Chronic Illness Awareness Week!

You may even want to email your family and friends and let them know that they can help support you by adding it to their emails for a few weeks. With over 7000 people getting this email, and sending 10 emails per day out, just imagine how many people would be notified about the week!

Here are some samples to choose from but you can also write your own. It sometimes helps if you put a divider around them too to break it up from your own email.
